Finally - my search for a perfect theme is nearing an end, with the introduction of this all-new all-custom design. Built from the ground up, across 2 operating systems and several major revisions, I’ve finally settled on this as my theme.
It’s not 100% complete yet, but it’s close - overall, I’m just happy that I’m running a theme that I built myself, instead of relying on someone else’s thought process ;)
I’m hoping that this new design - which places a far greater emphasis on content (and shows up just how little I’ve blogged since starting a few months ago) will encourage me to post more often, and on a wider variety of topics.
So what do you think? I’d love to hear some feedback, especially since the one thing I’m not is a graphic designer, lol.

The image above the tags/categories - that needs to go. (IMHO!) It doesn’t fit in with the rest of the site. Maybe make your menu heading “more my site posts” & “from all over” in bold?
Otherwise, I’m really liking the new design.Good job! :)
The image above the categories changes with every category. Browse till you find one you like, lol.
Yes, I need to organise the right sidebar a little. I might end up removing the left sidebar altogether (more space for post content). We’ll see.
Otherwise, thanks :) It still needs a bit of work, but at least it’s my own. lol.
I like this, it has an “organized” feel to it. Like everything has a place. Very cool man :-)
@Xariex Why thank you :)
Hey Wogan,
I cannot believe that the proponent of more social media interaction in SA hasn’t enabled “Google Friend Connector” on his site
Otherwise, the site looks fantastic..
John
Re the design, thanks, heh.
Yes, Google Friend Spaminator. I refuse to install it, because the community that knows about and reads my blog is very reachable on Twitter, Facebook, and via my RSS feed. I refuse to invite them to a whole new network for the exact same reason, lol.
