blogfeed - the rest of the SA blogosphere
Yay, it’s finally done! I’m happy (and relieved) to finally be able to announce my latest little experiment in content aggregation - blogfeed.
In a nutshell, blogfeed aggregates the aggregators. Blat and iBlog are arguably the two largest blogging communities in SA, and most bloggers in SA have heard of (and hopefully registered on) Amatomu. Hence those three tabs up there. The fourth tab - Featured - is for those brave enough to spread the word :)
I’m using some simple AJAX to allow for tab switching. When I implemented it there were a few issues, but according to Browsershots.org, it should mostly be working now. If you do pick up any issues (or have any suggestions to make), feel free to drop a comment here, or catch me on Twitter.
can i say that i’m totally impressed and totally baffled all at the same time?
That depends on which part’s baffling you :)
Why don’t you register on the site? I’m trying to put together a list of bloggers that, you know, actually blog. And care about it enough to want to do it. Just a thought :)
