In between bouts of extreme procrastination and getting work done (It was a slow day today, thank goodness), I managed to get a few more things done on Linkroll.
The major one is Categories. You can now create custom categories, and move links between them fairly easily. Creating new ones is a type-and-click affair:

Then, simply check the links you want to move (from the main links list):

And select a category from the dropdown box in the (new) sidebar:

Voila! Instant reorganization.
I’ve also removed the sorting-by-date aspect (since I don’t think it’s that important, really). Header navrow is gone, links are now on a dedicated page (http://linkroll.net/links) (still planning stuff for the Home page) the new sidebar is new, the Help page has been updated with a little more info, the auto-redirector has been fixed, and there were (naturally) a plethora of smaller fixes, too.
If you don’t know what Linkroll does, it’s basically one-click bookmarking by means of Javascript bookmarklet button. Click, saved, keep browsing. Now, you can organize them, and pretty soon you’ll be able to publish them into feeds and profile pages. Not quite sure about direct sharing, though - that’s what social bookmarking services are for.
