The BMW GINA
In between bouts of sheer insanity, Jared shared this video with me. It’s already hit Muti - so most of everyone will know about it - but I still think it’s an awesome concept for a car. Maybe not as “safe” as normal cars on the road these days, but it’s got serious eye-candy value:

It is just as safe as normal cars. In a car crash, the frame of the car is what absorbs the force of an impact. People think incorrectly that the skin of a car has a lot to do with impact absorption, which if it did, it’d be extremely poor absorption at best.
So GINA is just as safe as any other car on the road.
